Percy Jackson and the Olympians is my first love and Special Interest; it introduced me to a life long adoration of Greek Mythology, and has been a constant companion of mine since it was first published in 2005. And in PJO, the character Annabeth Chase was exactly who I wanted to be— strong, smart, pretty, and flawed in ways I could relate to. I can think of nothing else that has had an effect on my life in a similar way, and I am so grateful for this series and character for getting me through some difficult times. Cosplaying Annabeth Chase gives me confidence in a way no other character does. iDespite the simplicity of it, it’s my favorite cosplay and the one I am most proud of. I cannot wait for a new generation to fall in love with both Annabeth and Percy with the new Disney+ show!
